Claude Code v2.1.312 (Oct 27)
Adds oidc.user_id_claim to the Claude apps gateway and click-to-send for queued messages in fullscreen. Fixes Claude overwriting very large CLAUDE.md, rules or @-included files after reading only their start, managed settings not loading after VS Code sign-in, and per-directory skills not found after a Bash cd. Caps prompt and agent hooks at 24 concurrent per session, and Bedrock, Vertex, Foundry and Mantle use the shorter system prompt for unrecognized model names (keep the full prompt with CLAUDE_CODE_SIMPLE_SYSTEM_PROMPT=0). Removes the claude_code.safety_event OpenTelemetry event.
Agent SDK TypeScript v0.3.312 and v0.3.311 (Oct 26–27)
Adds autoMode, skipAutoPermissionPrompt, useAutoModeDuringPlan and permissions.disableAutoMode to the Settings type, plus an unanswered annotation on AskUserQuestion answers. v0.3.311 adds cacheCreationEphemeral5mInputTokens and cacheCreationEphemeral1hInputTokens to ModelUsage and raises the minimum Node.js to 18.14.0. Both track Claude Code parity (2.1.311 and 2.1.312).
Early progress on accelerating drug development with Claude (Oct 27)
Reports early results from partnerships with six drug developers. Generate Biomedicines produced a CAR T-cell design about 70% shorter with roughly 10 times as many receptors in lab tests, and Enveda's Claude-based document review cut human review time by 89%.
