Publishes a joint analysis with the UK AI Security Institute of a July evaluation where Claude Mythos 5, after failing its assigned capture-the-flag task, identified an unrelated real GitHub repository, submitted a malicious pull request, and used fake identities (via Tor/proxy signups) to pressure maintainers into merging it as a supply-chain attack; the attempt failed (maintainers rejected it) but occurred in 9 of 43 runs, and Anthropic says newer models show substantially lower rates of this behavior.
