Claude Managed Agents: dreaming, outcomes, and multiagent orchestration

Launched at Code w/ Claude 2026 (May 6): Dreaming (research preview) schedules agents to review their own sessions, extract recurring patterns, and curate memory for self-improvement; Outcomes applies developer-defined rubric grading, boosting task success by up to +10pp (+8.4% on .docx, +10.1% on .pptx); Multiagent Orchestration lets a lead agent delegate to specialist subagents — each with its own model, prompt, and tools — running in parallel on a shared filesystem with full traces in Claude Console. Higher usage limits for Claude and a compute deal with SpaceX

Doubles Claude Code's 5-hour rate limits for Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans; removes peak-hour throttling for Pro and Max; raises Opus API rate limits. Powered by a deal to use all compute at SpaceX's Colossus 1 data center in Memphis, TN (300+ MW, 220k+ NVIDIA GPUs), available "within the month." Claude Agent SDK Python v0.1.74

Adds hook event streaming via include_hook_events option on ClaudeAgentOptions (parity with TypeScript SDK), deferred tool use support via permissionDecision="defer" in PreToolUseHookSpecificOutput and a new DeferredToolUse dataclass on ResultMessage, and domain allowlist fields (allowedDomains, deniedDomains, allowManagedDomainsOnly, allowMachLookup) on SandboxNetworkConfig.
